Booking opens for the Summer Book Fair tonight!
If you're new to the Book Fair newsletter, then a warm welcome - we get signups almost every day, and it's lovely to see more and more potential visitors as well as writers joining in. As promised last week, we're going to be releasing the first half of the exhibitor passes for our summer book fair, which takes place on Sunday 13th July at the Magdalen College School. You can see a map of the location on the homepage of our website. It's a lovely venue, and we're running the show in conjunction with the Oxford Festival of the Arts who have VERY generously provided the hall for us free of charge - this means that we're able to sell the exhibitor passes at £20 for a full table and just £15 for a half table. There's space for 58 exhibitors. The full tables are a standard trestle table, and the half ones are big enough to put on a carefully planned display. It's a little cosy, but we're all friends here aren't we? This year, we're not having any talks and interruptions on the stage, so there are 7 large tables up there. MORE BOOKS!

* ...some changes
We take this whole book fair business VERY seriously indeed and are committed to provide the best we can for our brilliant writers and help bring them and their readers together. As such, we're investing a lot of effort into our website. Previous exhibitors will notice that the booking system, which allows them to choose for themselves where they exhibit is undergoing a facelift. Gone is the "spreadsheet squares" to click on, and in comes a much more representative graphic with the actual floor plan. It still works the same as before - just click on a table and when the orange button appears below, press that and continue on to pay for your exhibitor pass. The software is still in the 'Beta' phase - which makes you all our little Guinea pigs for now! We'd be very grateful for any feedback and reports of difficulties so that we can get it perfect for the November show. All being well, in the next iteration you'll be able to fill in your exhibitor profile while signing up to save you having to come back and do it later.
…so, roll on the summer, and you'll certainly hear more from us and the exhibitors on social media very soon.
Andy, Sylvia, James, Shona, Ray and Felicity
