ALMOST THERE!

The Book Fair is almost upon us. How's the preparations going? Everything ready?
The last pieces are all slotting into place here now, so I'm going to keep the final pre-show blog short and sweet.
Thanks to everyone who had submitted their adverts in time and nicely formatted. You can see the AD roll which will run on screens throughout the venue on the homepage of the website. It'll stay there until the next event.

There are only a few who haven't got their profiles finished and enabled, hurry - it's getting VERY late now!

Setup Time

The most important message I'd like to pass on is the decision on setup times. In order to prevent a total stampede through the North Hall where the lift is situated, we're going to let those exhibiting in the South Hall (the one with the stage) a half hour earlier at 9:00. Then from 9:30 we can allow everyone in to set up. If you're able to spread the time of arrival then you'll likely find it a little easier.
Look out for our band of helpers who will be on hand in their hi-vis jackets ready to help you during setup and through the day.

Layout

In order to accommodate a quiet reading time for kids in the North Hall under the giant screen, we've taken out a couple of tables and will shift some of the middle tables down a little. Check the tags left for you on your tables if you're in the far side of the North hall.

Opening

At the opening, we'll be taking a big group photo of everyone gathered in the NORTH Hall. Bring a book to wave for the camera (see the photo on the homepage!)

Well, I think that's just about all. Hope everything goes smoothly on the day and just as importantly HAVE FUN!
