Only TEN days to go!

I hope everyone's got all their books, handouts table decorations etc ready to go.

Make sure you have everything ready for the book fair NEXT SUNDAY 26 NOV... Wow, it comes around fast doesn't it?

If you've not done so, then PLEASE go to the Exhibitor Centre page and check all the information you'll need about the day, setting up etc. That way, you'll have a smooth setup.

This year, we're going one step better than putting out tickets on the tables to help identify your spot. We're putting out name badges with lanyards to wear. It'll help people recognise you.
The lanyards are colour coded; the RED lanyards will be worn by organisers or volunteer helpers who can assist you on the day.

Advertising

There's a little time left to get your advert onto the video showreel which will be shown on screens around the building. See the advertising page for details (updated today):

It's just £25 to include your book cover or your advertising video with a QR code and table number.
Just reply to this email with your ad booking and we'll sort it out right away.
You can see an early edit of the advertising video on the homepage of the website.
Because we'll be editing the video right up to the last minute, we'll invoice for the Ads just before the show when bookings close. But DO get in early to avoid missing the opportunity.

Social Media

Great work to everyone that has been tweeting and showing off their books for the show. If you tag us @oxindiebookfair we will LIKE, SHARE, FOLLOW you.
You can find some pre-prepared graphics for social media on the exhibitor centre page to download.
Make as much noise as you can, show off your boxes of books, your book covers ANYTHNG. If you see others sharing on social media LIKE and SHARE their posts too.

Promotion

We've been leafletting, tweeting, emailing, facebooking - you name it! Our adverts have been seen nearly twenty-eight THOUSAND times on Facebook alone! We've got two big banners to hang out in town, two MASSIVE feather-flags to put outside the steps of the hall so NOBODY can miss us. Volunteers will be out in force in town on the day handing out leaflets with amazing, colourful backpack flags bobbing and waving behind them. We need YOU to also add your voice to the noise we're making. Your success on the day depends on as many people learning about the event and getting excited about what you have to offer. Go NOW to the exhibitor centre and download some great pre-made adverts for social media and share them on all your platforms.
